January 19 marks the church holiday of Epiphany. It has been celebrated since the times of Russia, but folk baptismal customs have been preserved to this day.

The main symbol of the holiday is water. It is believed that on this day it has a special healing power. That is why on Epiphany people go to church in the morning to consecrate water, and the main holiday rite is bathing in the ice-hole.

From time immemorial, holy water has been given to each member of the family on an empty stomach to give them physical and spiritual health.

The girls poured water into a bowl, threw a necklace or a bundle of viburnum there and washed themselves to be beautiful. Water was also given to cattle so that they would not be afraid of diseases.

The house was also consecrated with this water. They took a few stalks from the diduche and sprinkled all the rooms to avoid misfortune. Meanwhile, a family member was drawing crosses on doors and windows with chalk.

Etalon-Ukraine respects Ukrainian customs and traditions and annually invites a clergyman to the enterprise. On the morning of January 19, the rite of consecration of drinking water "Etalon Classic", the entire bottling line and well will be held.
